Did the clutch get fixxed yet? I have found that less free play means more cable travel. That means much clucth release and an easier nuetral. My 400 is very hard to find nueral, I normally have to shut it off. If I take out my free play, It gets better, but then slips.

That is where we stopped at. She said she will ride it this weekend in the Card Game ride and see how it works out.

Well, I am able to find neutral when it's cold, or when it's warm and I am moving at the top of first gear or faster, or when the quad is off. If I am moving and pull the clutch in to let the motor rev down to idle, it will find neutral.
Can't find it to save my life from a still idle. If I sit still and rev the motor up, still can't find neutral.
It was rolling a tad with the clutch lever pulled in, in first gear, but got the cable adjusted just enough to stop that.

Oh yeah, and we changed from regular mo-cycle oil back to Amsoil Synthetic today.

I guess it wouldn't be my equipment if it wasn't quirky. Gonna ride it in the poker run next weekend and see if it changes as it breaks in or what.

Thanks again for all the help, Bill!!!

Hey, on my little green tank of a wolvie, I have a bottle of 20/50 Castrol Synthetic in the shop. Think that will be ok to use, or should I go buy regular 20/50 mo-cycle oil?

Good evening PSAR. Hope the riders had fun and were safe. Let us know.

What a great weekend. Friday I picked up some new helmets (safety first!) and spare spark plugs before our trip (it sucks to be out in the middle of nowhere and foul a plug!) Then we got Michael his outfit for his Junior High "graduation" and dance. Then off to Costco to spend a small fortune for basics for the riding/road trip - sheesh! A hundred + for beer and another hundy + for steaks and other bbq goodies! But hey, we'll eat good Plus I got to hang out with my best bud

Saturday, we got stuff in the trailer organized and loaded - just gotta put the rest of the clothes in, check tire pressure and lugnuts, and add the perishables and we is good to go. Booyah! Presented awards at the junior high ceremony - it was awesome to see all my little slobs dressed up and serious. Then I chaperoned the dance - funny stuff.

I worked most of today putting together our order for the science dept - if we don't get it ordered this week, it won't be here for September.

Wow! Only 4.5 days to work until we are on the road

Wild's 660 does the same thing, talk to him I forget the details but he knows what was causing it and how to fix it but choose not to for some reason...
