From what i understand its at your own pace, not a race in the conventional sense. You go through a series of check points and take a playing card. Whoever has the best hand at the end of the run wins. I think. If i'm wrong somebody will correct me.
Since I have never been on a poker run for quads...hows it work...what kinda riding are we doing? Can a girl get some details please.....wooop wooop....</end quote></div>

Thats the general gist.. usually at the end of the run the top hands from the ride win prizes and chit. its pretty cool.

Well bikes and loaded and ready to ride...gear is washing from this weekend...heading out to belfair today in a few hours to ride....get as much seat time as possible in.
Kinda wondering is it trails or roads the poker run is on?

From everthing that i have seen it is on the trails. There are some roads that you have to get on but I haven't checked to see what trails are going to be used for the different lengths of the ride. I'll go and check it out and post back.

You guys are going to have to help me on Sunday. Th wife is insisting on doing the short course b/c she says she doesn't want to slow us down. So yeah. I don't want her riding by herself, and I for damn sure don't want to do the short course!

Ok now that the sandbox has kicked my ars once again lets get on this spark arrestor issue...do you have a link to what it is I need to order...
I just went to Safeway in the Kitchen supply section and bought a sifter!! i know what your thinking, it will be weak!!?? but i have a 450R thats built a little and it works great!! I've had it in for about a year and a half and no probs yet! just measure the outer dia. so you can get the rite size lip edge and cut off the handle.. only 3 or 4 dollars!!! not 20 or 30!!!!
