is everyone riding the long course?</end quote></div>

I am, so that means Danny is! [IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]</end quote></div>

What time are people showing up? Is there a pre-function like breakfast? I went to the mud run in April with my CR500 a few years ago and parking was horrible because of the amount of people. Do people park along the roadside for this?</end quote></div>

Cheech started this little adventure...I haven't ever been to one.

I am in for a breakfast meeting, but if it's going to be crowded for parking, how early should we really show up? And where would a good grub getting place be that will be open that early on a Sunday?</end quote></div>

Sign-up is 7:30

Rider's meeting 8:45

First quad out 9:30

I'd recommend arriving at least by 7:00 if parking is the same. A Denny's might be in order for this one...

I usually get to Middle Wadell by going to exit 95 and going west through Littlerock. Then it's only a little way to Middle Wadell and freeway most of the way.

The only thing is it's 130 miles, so I have to allow for a little over 2 hours for travel... leaving at 5 is like a normal work day for me, but I can't do earlier. So I guess breakfast is out for a 7:00 arrival time.

Let's hear the word on parking then go from there.</end quote></div>

BUMPITY BUMP

Since it looks like we are leaving at Insane-O'-Clock, do we want to meet for breakfast or setup a place to meet so we can all try to park in the same area?</end quote></div>

I have not rode out of Wadell before so I have no clue on what even the parking is. For Shelton it was nice cuz we had the whole fairgrounds to park, so we showed up around 9am and had plenty of time to sign up and wait for the big line of 2wheelers to get out on the course before us.

I wonder if there is a good place within just a few miles of Wadell that we could all meet up at and then go from there, or just all take our cell phone #'s and gather up after we find parking?

Good Evening PSAR

Middle Wadell has a huge day use parking lot, about the size of a football feild.

quoting and not on the list = non-committal

However, I am making every effort to be there, and be there early to score parking in the parking lot.

I don't know how popular this event is so showing up with a 20' trailer and roadside parking isn't what I'm looking forward to, especially on that road.

When I went a few years ago, there were "no parking" signs along the road. I asked one of the officers patroling the area and they said they weren't issuing tickets the day of the event and suggested I park along the road. The spacious parking lot was packed and people were parked along both sides of the road...

What time are people planning on showing up?

I think trailer pooling is the way to go as well. I'll know for sure if I'm going as we approach the weekend. There's a lot of stuff going on at work right now. But I'm trying to work the overtime during the week in order to protect the weekends.

When I know for sure, I'll offer up transportation in the north end for those interested.
