Oh the innocence of the newly married groom. First off congrats on the five years. Now a word of advice. Don't ever believe that a woman has forgotten anything. And I do mean anything. Be very careful to remember birthdays, anniversaries (not just wedding), and special moments. Trust me on this, we will be married 45 years this fall and SWMBO still gets a rose on the anniversary of our first date. LOL that is pretty good advise and I am pretty good about that kind of stuff. It is easy for me too, we met for the first time on christmas eve and i proposed on valentines day all I really have to remember is our aniversary July 1st and her B-Day Oct 20th [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Paxton is ok, but it sounds like he doesn't want to race anymore. He had a very scary night. He was knocked out cold when the paramedics got to him. Long story short, he took an ambulance ride to the ER. In the ambulance he went blind, which scared him. The paramedics asked him what school he went to and he would say No! They asked him if he could see the pen in front of him and he told them to bring the pen up to his face, it was already there! So when they got to the ER, he was a trauma patient. Doc's everywhere! They cut all of his clothes off and sent him to the CT scan. Everything looks fine, but he is banged up good. The mouth piece of the helmet is broke also. He has a fat lip, black eye, cuts all over his face and bruises everywhere. They didn't send him home with any pain reliever, just told him to take tylenol. Paxton's mom woke him up at 7 and asked him if he wanted tylenol and he shook his head no. He went to roll over and he said yea I want tylenol. He has a BIG headache he says, and his jaw hurts. He doesn't remember anything from the wreck. His vision is back now, but he will be laying around for 2 weeks. I think it scared him enough to where he won't be jumping around, etc until he is completely healed.

Been there done that whole hit the noggin so hard couldn't see and stuff. My brothers wouldn't let them take me in an ambulance though. they just took me home [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] its perty scary stuff.. He'll be aww ight though.. did he start pukin like crazy?

I guess he puked 2 times coming home from the hospital in the motorhome. He barely made it into the bathroom. Yea he will be fine, like I said it just scared that living crap out of him. He doesn't like to get hurt in the first place and then not being able to see, that just set him over the edge. We will see in acouple of days how he is doing.

Oh ya I guess, the kid that ran Paxton over when he was down, quit the race. He felt so bad that paxton was knocked out cold that he wouldn't get back on his bike. Paxton's mom said that she heard that the Dad was YELLING at the kid to get back on his bike, but he never did. Sometimes parents need to take a step back and look at the situation their kid is in and RELAX! Damn!

Well Josh is not returning my call so I tried putting it together this morning myself...finally got it in and was tightening the bolts and 2 of them broke right off....()*&%*&%*(^ I am so freaking pissed
