Got the outlaw back together yesterday. Seems that I need more parts...

When I took it apart, it was very apparent that both center tie-rod ends needed replaced, so I ordered the parts.

I put it together and the right side is still toed out. The only way to get the darn thing straight is to adjust the tie-rod all the way out to where it only has 1/4 inch engagement. Clearly not enough to ride with.

On the outlaw the steering post comes down to the left side where the left tie-rod attaches, there is a 6 inch link to an idler where the right side tie-rod attaches. The left wheel must be aligned with the handlebars first, then the right wheel aligned with the left wheel.

That center link must be bent as well. From the factory, the center link has an arch to it, so it's difficult to tell if it's the same arch until all the parts are assembled.

Obviously not designed for wrist breaker trails like capitol forest.</end quote></div>

its not the tree roots that got ya ...it was the head on in to the tree....this is not TT racing you cant hit stuff to make you turn you have to do it BEFORE you hit...[IMG][/IMG]</end quote></div>

Again, I blame you for all that is beyond (or within - depending on my mood) my control. Had you been there to be run into or run over, I would not be replacing tie-rod ends and center links on my quad.</end quote></div>

By the way, thanks for being there in turn 3 at RMC, that worked well for me .</end quote></div>any time

Ok so this Naches trail, hmmmmm could i handle it i wonder??????????? I am kinda a sissy nowadays

How much are these trail passes they speak of??

</end quote></div>

The Naches trail is not that bad if you skip the first, lower, part and park at the upper staging area.

Going down the east side it looks like it will be a tough ride back up but it really isn't. The are two or three step ups over roots coming back up the east side and a long uphill rocky area but nothing harder than you have ridden.

The forest pass (single day use or season pass) can be purchased at any forest service office or at the office in Enumclaw on the way to the Naches Trail

I think that the single day pass is $5.00 truck.</end quote></div>

Thanks Rod, might try to plan this trip Would like to see Wunderboy take his truck too so if I did get skeert I could ride w/ him LMAO hey at least I'd have a seatbelt!!

Sounds like there isn't alot of parking?? Hope our trailer will fit too, we can always slide er' into the bushes though that's the good thing about it being so high in the air!!

Ok Happa, I'll stop teasing. The Raptor 700 is a monster at St.A's. We put 22 haulers on it, the geared to 13/38. I feel that is a little low. Jim went to 14/40, but stock chain won't fit. If I owned owned one, it would be 13/37.

I made it up choke on RG's both times I tried. I tried some harder lines on mine and the Raptor couldn't climb as good as the meltdown machine. I spent about 4 hours on it Friday and really got to liking it. We don't have money right now, so I have too wait.[img]i/expressions/brokenheart.gif[/img] If I can sell my 2 for enough to buy one, I will. That would be money well wasted. I will hold out for the better suspension package, though.

Since I never had a chance to ride the lower section, is there another hill climb that is equal in difficulty that we have ridden?</end quote></div>

From what I have heard about it maybe bills hill or full throttle but I have never been up those so no nothing that we have rode together.

Think of Full Throttle before the stopping area and throw in more roots and loose rocks everywhere!</end quote></div>

There ya go Rod is the only one that I know of that has rode it with the exception of Wild and I, It was alot of fun with about a foot of snow too !

WTF but i can get charged with felony/theft if i go take the pup back</end quote></div>

Hey TNE went through your place a few times today, we ate breakfast at the little timber resturant place... I know that is not it but, you know where i am talking about LOL That sucks about the pup.

The upper parking area is fairly large happa explained that already. And as he said you can park on the road. There is a staging area tward the bottom that is large enough for every PSAR member to camp out for a week but it would be illegal to ride your quad the 1 mile up the forest service rode to the trail head and they do check often But parking should not be an issue at all

Had a good little ride up to Paradise today! Nothing exciting to speak of LOL I am just glad wild keeps his bike rubber side down unlike his quad
