Rod like Karl said more floatation, but even better you get your stuff one more inch out of the sand. That can mean the difference between an idiot hole and a real idiot.

Hey Happa,
As I surmise, Hollywood doesn't really like to camp much. You know what we need to do? We need to head down to Florence in Sept. or Oct. We could stay at Honeyman State Park and ride staight out to the dunes at that time of year. What makes it best for you and Hollywood is that you could rent a Yurt at the park. You have to worry about a tent and they have fouton beds in them.
Now that's what we need to do.

Okay, okay.....I'll work on him, but I have to get some details.
So here's my quetions:
#1.) How far away is it. Length of trip and/or miles?
#2.) What are the fees to participate?
#3.) What days are the best to be there?
I know he won't be able to take more than one day off work, mainly because we have all our vacation mostly used up for the year. But I might be able to talk him in to taking a friday off.
Let me know the scoop, and I'll get to working on him! I think I'll use the title to the 450R as some leverage......just have to be careful, it could backfire, he has the title to the trailer! I might have to live with you Dirtmomma!

OK you can live w/ me hehehe Here's the deal, it's a 6 hr drive for us, thats w/ the motorhome & FULL trailer & all my silly stops LOL if you were to take Fri off & leave early you wuold get there around noonish, just in time for the festivities they have an ATV rodeo on Fri & Sat which is a REALLY good time w/ an awards BBQ afterwards, & YES YOU WILL BE GOING TO IDAHO TO DRINK BEER WHHOOOOOHOOOOO OH sorry got a little carried away IMO I think it's worth the drive for a fun couple days but thats just us!! Hell we drive 2 hrs to race why not a few more to have fun. The rodeo including the BBQ is $30, you get 5 rodeo tickets it takes a ticket per event BUT ALOT of people will give you thier tickets cuz they don't want to participate otherwise you can buy more for $5 a shot I think We've never had to buy extra ones cuz we always get them given to us As for the camping it's like $20 a night I do believe, all in all it's not too expensive except of course for the fuel on hte way there & back. We usually spend about $200 for camp & rodeo hell we spend 1/2 that for one night of racing Sooooo let us know what ya think, hey BTW if ya wanna call us we're in the phone book under Ron I can answer any ?? ya got!!
TTYL< COME ON JOEL COME ON JOEL COME ON JOEL (I think we got Jolene talked into it )

I see what some of you guys mean about trying to keep upp with this thread.
If you arent a n active participant,,,,,it is really tough to follow.
Last couple days,,,,flat on the back,,,trying to control spasms,,,,,waiting for the chiropractor to return from vacation.
Dreaming of riding,,,,,,,heck,,,,,,dreaming of walking
Anyone have a strong used back for sale?

Hey BINGer,
Sure hope you feel better there, it is no fun having back injuries. They suck. Stay off it and take care until it gets better. Wish I was closer to ya to come give you a hand with anything you might need. Let us know though. Those dang Doc's always take vacation at the wrong time.
Hope you feel better Buddy.

WELL.... We discussed this today with the group at Capitol Forest, and Marci (NWCutie) Started it. It was to Start this new thread that Everyone is welcome to stop in and say "HI!". (The old thread dated itself to July 21 riding.)
the Goal, I believe, is for everyone in the Puget Sound Area to have a chance to meet, ask questions, and ultimately "RIDE!" together.
As for me, I'm new to this sport of ATVing. Meeting people like Mark (Bing) for example, with a quick observation was able to give me some mechanical advise that helped prevent a problem, Or Meeting Nick (Nickli) & Roberta in Moses Lake the weekend after Memorial Day!,
Then there's Larry(HappaRap) and Rusty, Derrick & Pam(Derrick88), Kevin and Michelle (SmokeEater70) That I've had the Pleasure to ride with, and of course my Friend Marci (NWCutie) that introduced me to all this!!
Last Month a group of us met and went riding at Capitol Forest. (from the Rock Candy Staging Area) What A BLAST!!!
This weekend we went Camping and riding at the Middle Waddell Camp Ground, (Adults, Kids Dogs and QUADS!)
Mark, Julie. Larry & Rusty were MIA today, (Larry!! we were hoping you were going to bring us all Mocha's)
I look forward to riding again with all of you some more, and meeting all the other local riders!
Hopefully, this will be the place!
Till Later
Bill (Pics from today have been Posted)
Oh, and Derrick, remind Pam we have to have a "wheelie" practice soon!
