Default Puget Sound/Seattle NW Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Hey, I'm thinking of getting Haulers for my 450r. I already have 10" ITP wheels so I will go with a 20-10-10 Hauler, but how many paddles should I get on them? They come in 7, 8, 9 & 10 paddles tires. Which would be best for my 450r?

My two cents:

I bought 20x10x10 10 paddle hauler extremes for my pred. right off the bat... used them for one weekend at sand lake. 2mnypaddlez... It would push them, but it'd leave six inch deep trenches where I was drag racing... and dig holes when trying to manouver around trees... constantly digging out.

I then bought 22x11x10 8 paddle hauler extremes... night and day difference. The larger diameter gives much more floatation in the light dry sand and the eight paddles allows for more wheel spin (yes wheel spin) to keep the r's up. It hooks up good for racing too. I had to go down a tooth in the front to have enough gears to shift going up hills.

I sold my old tires to sandbomber, which BigD is testing them out on his 450's. You may want to ask Bigdaddy what he thinks of those tires too.

Anyway, it's all preference you'll need to decide for yourself. Hope this helps.

As far as sand tires for the Raptors:

Skat Trac Extreme Haulers 22-11-10 8 Paddle Rear

Kenda Dune Runners 21-8-10 Front

A couple points to also consider:

Remove your rear skid plate, it'll drag in the sand
Use stock offset rims, unless you want to be wider

This is the setup I run and I'm very happy with it

The Rock Candy Poker Run, if someone needs to pass me, I'll pull over when I feel it's safe and plenty of room, otherwise, they can just eat my dust ,smell my fumes, blah blah blah.

OK DirtMomma,

You are in trouble now. Just talked to Genie and made reservations. And guess what, right next to you in site #3. hehehe. Let the fun begin. She said there is a little grass there and the tent "should" fit. Yikes, we'll see .... I hope it's halfway nice, my wife is pretty picky.hehe Just kidding, she'd kill me for saying that. I"m the pickier one. Can't wait

RIGHT ON!!! Well I would say YOUR the one in trouble LMAO So how old is this babysitter???? Am I gonna have to keep my 14 yr old son glued to my side ROFLMAO J/K if his quad is nearby he's not into girls(I don't think hehe) Now our kids can play together Trevor(5) will like that!! Glad she could help you out We think it's a pretty nice little RV park in fact we thought about buying it a couple yrs ago, ya never know we just may be the owners someday. We didn't want to leave WA due to the fact Ron's Mom was sick but she's had a lung transplant now & is doing MUCH better so who knows This is probably the biggest week of the year for it. She keeps it up pretty good for it being just her & her husband, yes you will like the nice grassy spot it's not much but when your in the dust for a week grass is good hahaha
YES we are the ones that go to Oakwood, we are in the middle of a flattrack series now between there & Rainier, don't think we're gonna finish it out though since the 2 race quads are BOTH tore down now WE also race the MX there, we used to go to the mx alot more but since we've been flattrackin' more it's a pain to set the quads up & down every weekend.
YES JOEL YOU NEED TO GET ON IT!!! YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST!! The rodeo is the best time for us, we love the trails but I like to go race cuz I've brought home a trophy every year hehe, I forgot to tell you when we planned on leaving, we will be leaving Wed. the 14th early in the morning, Wed. activities for the jamboree include the parade & Karaoke don't know why they are having the parade Wed it's usually Fri but whatever, we've never rode in it but I would like to this year depending on how the 300 will be to dial in. Well we'll keep in touch!!

RIDE400EXROD
We camp/ride @ the Derringer campground, there are alot of trails/logging roads & heck even some sand we call the sand dunes, it's pretty cool right on the river. We'll be up there Next weekend now as for riding I don't know if my quad will be ready yet, I may ride the Kodiak but it's not running real well now & it's GUTLESS but it's a ride, there are all levels of trails pretty much. I don't know where it is your talking about but to get to Derringer you go thru town, @ the 4 way stop you go left, to SaukPraire Rd then go right you'll go past the saw mill, you just follow that road ALL the way out till it goes to a T then go left & follow that out, stay on main road NO rights NO lefts & it'll run right down in to the campground, it's got about10-15 camp spots w/ fire pits & tables, there are some outhouses for your convvienience(sp) LOL there's NO garbage service, but you also don't have to pay either so it's cool. There's about4 spots on the river but all the rest are walking distance there's also a trailhead for walking it's pretty cool. If any comes up on Memorial weekend it's sometimes hard to get a spot BUT we can always squeeze people in w/ us We all camp together (gathering of the wagons LOL) in the "daycamp" there's usually about 4-6 motorhomes. And a chit load of quads. So it's a good time had by all, oh there's PLENTY of drinkin going on too WE have a 73 Dodge class C motorhome 20' we pull a flattbed highrider trailer 8x16 so if anyone sees us come say HI & have a beer!!

Geez OK thats a lot of YACKING huh hehehe would of joined in the MSN chat but wasn't online last night ooppss
