Sean -

Hap and I hope it all works out for you guys and that you still manage to have a good time down there. I knew your kids were cuties but they must really be great too to have been such a help to you and Tammy during your bad luck with the Bronco's tranny.

Hope you all get home safe and sound and with not too large a hole in your pocket

Travel safe!

Ok, so here's one problem with the Shelton Poker Run, bikes and atvs left whenever they wanted and were intermingled the entire morning, fast bikes would pass the slower quads, then they would all meet at a gravel road, let the quads pass them, then go after them again.

One problem we encountered was two teenage girls riding dirt bikes in front of us were having trouble in a particular section, they kept falling over and getting pinned under their bikes, Kenny had to get the bikes off them twice in a 1/4 mile section, their father was behind me, we couldn't pass them and the father couldn't pass me. The second time it happened I told the father as soon as I get to a wide spot he could pass me, thats when he said that's my daughter so I don't want to pass you, and of course I thought, then why don't you get your azz off your bike and help your daughter out buddy.

It's my personal opinion that bikes and quads don't do well together on poker runs, no matter how nice we try to be to each other. I got highcentered in a mug bog and two bikers helped push me out, that was nice of them, and overall we got along pretty good, but bottom line, the two don't mix.

I will be doing the Rock Candy Poker Run June 19TH, if anybody's interested, that's probably the last mix poker run I'll do.

Thanks Marci for that info and offer to help. Your friends offer of a couple tow rigs is awsome HONDABLUE (JOSH). You ever see a grown man cry( which my wife hasn't )?? The thought that others are willing to drive 3-4 hours to help out is awsome. Although I would also do it in a heartbeat for anybody, when it's you on the receiving end it's harder to accept. I have always talked this group of people up so much when talking to my friends, this is just the exclamation point on how I describe this group to others. Just amazing isn't it.

Spent the day figuring things out, or trying anyway. Went and got a 17 ft U-haul truck, and have all 5 quads loaded in .
So we can get those home tomorrow. I have a trailer here to put the Bronco on. So coming home tomorrow to try to find a tow rig and just have to come back and get it. Not to bad at all. The people at this Motel said it is no problem leaving in here until we come back to get it, that helped trememdously. Went to the fire station and they said I could leave them there to

Things aren't to bad. As long as I get the Bronco home, it can sit there til I win the lotto and get the tranny fixed, hehe. J/K.
Hopefully I'll have the end to this story posted tomorrow night. Praying to get this nightmare over. Even though I've been in good spirits, it's trying. Hardest part is having to rely on others to help. I'll owe MojaveBoy lots by the time we are all done to, it's been trying on him and his wife. He just wants to make sure we get his buddy's trailer home soon also. He really wanted to come home today, but i wanted to stay and try to do something and at least enjoy the day. the ladies kinda wanted to stay also. that caused some friction, but dang it, don't let this ruin the whole weekend. Of which I have been known to do. But we have made the most of this, well kinda. We went to Tillamook and then to dinner. then the weather kinda broke and had a nice evening on the beach.

thanks all for listening(reading) to my sob story. Yehhhhaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww.

MARCI,

Josh left a message on my pager today (my cell is forwarded to my pager). I didn't realize I had messages since my pager hasn't been going off, I just called to see if I had any. That is awsome, I got your PM obviously, but didn't realize he called to. I didn't ignore him. To late to call him now, but WOW.

Cell phone about to die, gotta jump off here and go put it on the charger

sean- sorry to hear the bronco took a poo on ya, i hope all goes better getting it all home now.
that's one concern i have with mine too... when i bought it, the tranny had burnt fluid in it. i changed it & put in a filter... so far, so good(but i wonder sometimes). i have the E4OD in mine, it's a monster of a tranny.
