Is anybody having broadcast problems with comcast?</end quote></div>
You mean, besides you?
None here.</end quote></div>
Val called Comcast yesterday and they told her people are having cable TV interference, broken pictures and static because of the equinox problem in the fall and spring that happens every year, I guess it interferes with the satelites or something.
Sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. Q:</end quote></div>
Fall equinox was 9/22, sounds like a bunch of hooey to me too
I have extended basic cable from Comcast and only once in a great while have a broken/fuzzy signal (normally during storms)
if you have digital cable it could be a bad cable causing an issue?? was there a cable cut when the door was put in? was it replaced or spliced?
still sounds like a bunch of hooey!</end quote></div>
The cable was replaced with brand new cable so I can't see that being the problem and it is just some channels not all. Val called and made an appointment for today and then the rep told her about the equinox problem so they decided Val would call and cancel if it got better. We watched it all last night and this morning and didn't see anymore problems so yep, Val called and cancelled now we have the same problems again.

I think someone is in the office saying, "Hey let's monkey with these folks for awhile!" Good, bad, good, bad, good, bad

We have a 3-way splitter, one to tv family room, one to tv bedroom, one to computer. Cable to computer was cut, put a new 2-way splitter in family room, one to tv and one to computer. Even tv in bedroom is funky at times, don't think it's a cable problem, family room tv cable had never been touched prior to cut computer cable. If we still have problems, we'll just have comcast come out and figure it out.
