OK, parts for the bearing carrier are in the house.
I have the bearings in the freezer and I plan on heating the carrier in the oven. Anyone have an idea what temp I should heat it to?

200-250 10-15 minutes is what I do for crank and tranny bearings. Make sure the bearings are in the freezer for at least a few hours for best results. I usually drop then in, the day after I put then in....

in freezer tonite... install tomorrow IMO, but I'm no superwrench

I plan in leaving the bearings in the freezer until tomorrow.
So what temp? 250 or 375?

in my opinion, if you use 375, put the part in as soon as you turn the oven on.

The lesser temp, preheat then install.

half dozen of one, 6 of the other. I don't have welding gloves, so I use the cooler temp
