ReserveAmerica doesn't work, or the entire quading/duning system is booked till mid summer.....</end quote></div>

Did you try recreation.gov?

That's who you need to use now.

I don't think you can reserve sites in the winter, it may be first come first served from Oct. to April.

Also you can only reserve 240 or less days in advance.

Halfmoon Bay campground at Winchester is 1st come 1st served except for group sites.</end quote></div>

I knew halfmoon was 1st come, 1st happy. I was triing driftwood with reserve america. I then got a link to the .gov, but still unavailable. That just told me I want to go to Winchester, instead of Florence.

Take that job and when Boeing calls you to work, quit [img][/img]</end quote></div>

That was a thought...... but it only betters me by $10-20.00 per week than unemployment.

Reserve America updated software back in Oct. and ever since it has not allowed anyone to make reservations. I talked to some people who went to the Horsefalls day use area and they said there was about 8 sites being used last weekend.

Sounds like someone is loosing some $ if no one can reserve a spot. And maybe Cutie could fill us in but I don't think the old nasties that camp host there are willing to break rules and let U stay with out prior reservations.

Default Puget Sound/Seattle/Pacific Northwest Area Riders Meet HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received this e-mail from John at NMA:

Happy New Year Everybody.

Hopefully everyone had a great holiday, and is ready to kick off the New Year with a Tahuya trail work party. This is hopefully the last push to what is needed to get the trail at Tahuya open again.
Please tell all your friends to come out and join in on the fun. Lets show our support for our favorite ORV riding area by doing the work we need to be able to keep riding.

Saturday January 19th, Elfendahl staging area, 9 am. Volunteer sign up sheets will be available.

On behalf of the Northwest Motorcycle Association there will be Free Coffee and doughnuts to start the day. Free Hot dog, and Wired Energy Drinks for lunch. Be sure to give your thanks to Wired Energy drinks info@wiredenergydrink.com . Wired has committed to continue support to the NMA for the 2008 calendar year.
