I have been to Gold Bar and Elbe Hills. We tested the Raptor out after we got it at Gold Bar we did not get much riding in when we were there. I popped the bead on the front tire and bent the tie rod. On the Raptor's first ride.
RaptorChick will not let me take the Raptor out any more. She says I get to beat on the DS and the 450 but leave the Raptor alone...
Racer-X and I have been to Elbe Hills form what it seemed the trails crossed the road and were not very long but had some steep rocky rutted hills. Not recommended for and eight year old. I couldn't pay enough for Racer-X to go back.

Juniper has "Open riding" 7000 acres of it. Dunes hill climbs desert trails and whooped trails and if you don't want to try to find a trail to go where you want you do some cross-country. The only things to watch out for are juniper bushes. The only bad thing about it is there is no fresh water (lake or creek) near by it is surrounded by farmers fields. The good thing is that not many people go there unlike Moses Lake.

I hear you about keeping it clean and respect for public lands.
We had gone to Moses Lake the weekend after 4th of July (to miss the B/S) and there was garbage all over the place. Very distrusting. I am a true believer of you pack it in you pack it out.
There have been other times that the local teens go out and party it up and leave the garbage. Not caring that they are screwing it up for them selves and others.
I could go on and on about it but that's good enough for now.
It is frustrating having so few mess it up for so many.

If we all pick the 23rd Nov, I will be able to go... Im out for this week end.. I just had Lasik down on my eyes. Im 20/20 in both eyes.. almost 20/15!! It works wonders!!!! I love it.. NO PAIN!! Worth every penny!
So, I guess if we start planning for the 23rd Nov we might get something going? Next weekend at Tahuya??? We would need directions from Lacey. Maybe ride then BBQ????? yumm yummm!

That weekend at Tahuya sounds great, Saturday or Sunday, doesn't matter to me. Look foward to meeting and riding with you.
Were there any doubts about 1000

Hi,
New to this forum. Anyone ride at Walker Valley in Skagit county. My family and I ride there most every sunday.
There is a pic of us in the OCT issue of DIRT WHEELS, in the back in the " Over the bars" section. The Pic that says happy campers at Reider pit.
