Default Puget Sound Area Riders Meet HERE!!!

Hmmmm, It looks like Roberta snuck in here and used my logon to talk to everybody. Whats up with that? She has her own logon. I dont use those smiley faces and stuff like that. You know you are in big trouble when you have to get online to see what your spouse thinks about going riding. Lol.

Larry, in all of those weekends that Ive been riding, a majority of them have been slow quad trails so 1st and 2nd gear are all I get to use. According to my Trailtech, Ive put 650 miles on this year. If I was at Capital Forest hitting the logging roads more often, Id be higher Im sure. Im taking a couple of co-workers, new riders, down there this coming Friday. And they like fast wide open trails. They just bought HUGE utility quads. She has a Polaris 650 and he has a 700 Polaris. Them are two tanks. Both are 700 pounds+ I think. And a budy of mine who weighs 145 pounds and I had to roll one of them off its side up a hill sideways. Talk about struggling. Im hoping that the ride this coming Saturday can get a large turn out. I dont remember reading where the Texaco station is though. Plus 8AM will be the earliest I have ever ever hit the trails. Even when Im camping out. lol

I hope we can get a huge group out. It sounds like it. Sooner or later this weather weill go really bad on us. I hope so, cuz Ive been putting off sending my quad in for a valve adjustment for too long now. I just dont want to take it to Hinshaws and have them keep it for 3 weeks.

see yall

I believe it's exit 70, turn left over the freeway to the deadend, Texaco and restaurant to the right, staging area to the left. The exact directions are a few pages back. That's alot of miles, even for the slow trails, figuring on a good ride on a good day will be about 60 miles. I wouldn't take it to Hinshaws, tear that plastic off, dig in there yourself, at least then you know it's done right. I'd never done a valve adjustment before I got my quad, now I've done it three times, pretty simple.

Welcome to the thread!!! Yes, there will be at least one 12 year old, NWCutie (Marcie) son, Micheal, he has a Honda 90, that is if it was fixed from the last ride and wreck, needed a new A-Arm, he ran off the road and hit a tree. I'm not sure if any other kids will be there, unless you count the few grown kids in the group hehe. You are absolutely welcome to join the Easton ride, there's alot of people I haven't met in the thread yet, and look foward to riding with.

The directions to the ride is a few pages back, they were posted by NWQUADFREAK, so if you have anymore questions, ask away, somebody's always online to answer any questions you might have. Hope to see you at Easton.

outkastjoe...... WELCOME!!!

I Haven't fixed MIchael's trx90 yet, and it won't happen before the 11th, BUT......

he has a 2 wheel ttr 90 that he'll be riding with us, but Marci's still up in the air about the 11th, we'll keep you all up to date! (in other words, when you see a post from her, It's confirmed)

So if Marci doesn't make it are the boys still going, or will just be you?

Jim (Big Daddy), my riding buddy, called on his way back from Beverly, lost his one way this morning, starter was free wheeling, time for the L&A Designs kit. You non Raptor riders are lucky with this one. I quess he will be riding the Warrior next weekend.

Larry, I'm always willing to bring the boys!, Ricky can always take his nap on the front of the quad while we're riding

here are the options as I understand them

1) If Marci can't make it, I'll make it if I can borrow her truck (she's great about that!) I'd bring Michael if he wanted to go with the ttr90
2) Marci and I discussed riding Friday or Sunday if she can't make Saturday (she has a schedule problem she's trying to figure out)
3) Bring the trailer up Friday to overnight, and come home Saturday (my favorite option!) she has Friday off and we could head out early in the afternoon?
4) any mix of the above

I'm flexable, but she's feeling pressure to work on her Masters and I can't blame her for waiting to see how far she can make on it today, and the rest of this week (notice you haven't seen any postings from her lately)

hey everyone

I've been working on the 02' Blaster rear brakes, I read on this forum that there is a self adjuster, when I tried that method it seemed to work, or am I being hopeful?? anyone know for sure??

and yes, a service manual is in my future!
