It appears that we can't ride from the campground up there... this is quoted from the Cle Elum Ranger District site:
ORV's allowed:
The Liberty/Williams Creek group campground is for street legal vehicles only. The Campground does not tie to the trail system and requires the use of Forest Service and County roads to access the surrounding trail system.

2mnyToyz,
I can have my wife get more information about Liberty. He co-worker said there are all kinds of campgrounds (dry camping only) and that everyone rides on the roads. Liberty is a ghost town, just cabins now I believe.
I'll have Cindy find out more about it. I have a map that shows all the OHV areas in the Cascades and it show a real big one there.

Larry, if you want to cut the hub out and replace it, they make rubber sleeves that will slip over the cast iron. You can cut the cast with a sawzall, I've done it before.Rod

When we moved in, we had a plumbing company relocate the washer, which meant they had to relocate the drain line. They tied into the cast coming from my bathroom and I just noticed as the water was backing up, they used the rubber sleeve with clamps to secure the new section of abs, only problem was the cast pipe has raised letters and they put the sleeve over the letters, so it leaked out there because it wasen't a good seal. I took the sleeve off, took out my rotozip with metal cutting wheel and just grinded the lettering down smooth with the pipe, good seal now. I'll go back down Saturday morning, wire brush all the piping off and see what I need to replace at that point.

Hey Nick and Larry,
Did you check out how dirty your air filters were after the weekend at Easton? Mine was almost black. I could tell on Sunday evenings ride over there that mine was getting clogged up. I sure hope it gets some rain over there before you all head back for Labor Day weekend.

The weekend in review...GREAT! My wife and I had a really good time in Moses Lake for our anniversary riding the "dirty dunes". She got a couple of nice pics of me airing out the underside of my YFZ 450. I did miss the Kodak moment when she was unintentionally showing off the belly pan of her Raptor. I was quite amazed at the lack of people that were there. Less than 300 if I guessed right. That is fine with me. I even got my other half to climb a few hills that she refused to try on Saturday, by sunday she was having a blast and trying everything. Bill
