Yes Canal street was funny yesterday. I first saw a flatbed tow truck there upon arrival, but after a watching he was just loading up wood. Then later on I saw a full size F-350 (Red) he seemed to be watching me as I was riding. Then a bronco came down and the F-350 guy and him were talking not sure what the deal was. I only rode for about an hour and left when that was going on. It won't be long, what ashame, fun place to ride.

 

canal has been around forever. im 23 and my dad and his buddys were ripping that place up before i was born... i wouldnt worry about it going anywhere. its not like people just started going there. ill probly be out there this weekend. i love rideing there

Hi hows everyone doing? You guys have been running this thread for a LONG time. I ride right by my house most of the time, but its gettin kinda boring. Its pretty cool though cause the edge of the woods is about 10 feet from my garage. So where is everyone going this weekend. I don't know about you guys but i'm over this winter thing, i'm ready for some warm weather.

 

I would love to see Canal last a long time.... we had a blast and probably have had an even better time if I hadnt broken my CV joint. We'll be back out there again as soon as Sunrise gets my Eiger back together.

So you are riding back there behind Corporate Landing Middle then right?

I have been wanting to ride out there, but it's too difficult to find a way in without being too obvious about it.

Canal Drive is off of Military Hywy in Chesapeake.
Right in the shadows of the Virginia Power plant near the Gilmerton Bridge.
