Kenny, did you all get any good video of yall jumping the hill? Looked like yall were getting wide open on that little makeshift track on your road. My 3wheeler is a little hard to turn on that track. My bro-in-law blew the motor on that after riding it all day over at my friend Chris's. After unloading it at my house and going down the driveway. I am getting Werks Engineering to rebuild it. I wish I had a good 250r 4 wheeler to match it. I'd trade my 400ex for a good one.

 

Yea we got some video. Yea I imagine the 3wheeler would be a beast around that track. I guess you seen BrocksZ post bout the 250r right? I was suprised your bro in law didnt try to jump the hill. It looks alot bigger than it is the land goes up there so it isnt all that tall. I am working on the video right now. It is going to be from yesterday and I am doing one from ECMX on sat. Tom said Matts Tecate was running good the other day before the head gasket blew I guess they are sending the heads off to get worked on too.

 

Yeah, saw the post from Brock'sZ, but its been a while. Yeah we didn't want to irritate anyone that might now know us or want us to ride on their land. My buddy Chris said that it was too dusty and he couldn't keep up with yall. Those little kids on the motorcycles were a trip. The kept bugging me to ride my 400ex. Yeah the guy doing my rebuild is trying to get some more HP out of the new TRX 450 for some pro rider chick. He told my buddy that the YFZ's are whipping the 450R out on the tracks right now, but he is trying to get her some more HP. He's a Honda guy and he says Honda blew it, when they could have hit a home run. Kinda glad that I didn't get one yet. They will be awesome soon! I have faith.

Matt said that he and Tom are going to probably get 2 more Tecates. I keep telling him that my 250R is alot stronger than when we raced before. It is a big bore 300cc with 38mm airstryker carb and new FMF silencer, so maybe the Honda can prevail this time, LOL!

 

Yea Dave (Durabluz400) has a 450R I have jumped on it just for a few seconds It has plenty of power and feels like riding a 400ex comfort wise. I havent got on a yfz but i dont think i would pass up the honda comfort and reliability. So that was chris running with me and ben? why couldnt he keep up? the ruts on the turns slow him down lol. that track needs some work but it dont have whoops like mine does. The kids always bug us to ride our stuff, they are pretty good riders actually i just aint comfortable letting a 10 year old ride my EX.
Yea I dont know that setup you have may give matt a run for his money. I still say they are too fast for 3 wheels. Weekends I will probly be riding now if it is not raining and i am going to try to tape more. Hey you should race tom on his new toy that CR500 that thing is nuts.

 

Yeah, Kenny I don't do Motorcycles, too dangerous. My Bro-in-law took my 400ex up against a piped Banshee and a Stock Raptor and got the holeshot and was ahead until 4th gear everytime. The Banshee smoked the Raptor. Chris is putting a 1985 Yamaha Tri-Z 250 back together and it will be nice, just not as bad as the 250rand the tecate. His will be almost a frame up restoration, and he wants another 4wheeler, like yfz or banshee or trx 450r. I will wait a year or so and see how they are in 2005. Honda made steady improvements on the trx 250R and up until the last two years they were the King of MX. Who knows, I hope its as awesome as should be. I really wanta 650EX with e-start and reverse, if they ever get around to making it. I am still waiting on the trx 500 2 stroke they were going to release in 1988 until the lawyers got to Honda. LOL

 

Anyone interested in the 250r? Don't have it advertised or anything, not really in that big of a hurry to get rid of it. Let me know I could bring it somewhere if anyone is interested. Waiting on plastic and a 36mm carb. The 39mm was overkill.
