N E 1 found N E good places to ride?? Temperatures are starting to cool down; perfect time to ride!

 

Im heading out this weekend to Slades

 

Where is that? Never been there....

 

out in Surry county.. go out over the James river bridge... Turn right at the 2nd light, right at the first light at the BP station and head out on Route 10 for a while and you will see a sign on the left that says Slades off road park...

Been there going back again in March. Our group at eastcoastatvriders.com goes almost every month. We have decent participation and make videos and what not.

 

yeah we are in the feb 06 issue of dirtwheels at Busco Beach in the parting shot section. It is a small group of the riders from eastcoastatvriders.com. We have a great time there. They have a little bit of everything. It is about 3-4 hours away from Virginia Beach.

 

I grew up in va beach and used to ride slades park before it closed.Is it any good for trail riding now?

 

jakesnake, I've been there a couple times and for trail riding, it's the best around. He's got several trails cut through the trees and an open ride around the big field, but that's pretty bumpy now. Hopefully he'll grade it down one of these days. However, it's a good place to just get out and ride.
