Check out the Ocala National Forest, huge riding area. I also noticed last week when I was driving
back from the keys that there were people riding someplace off of 41, kind of by Homestead, Florida City. I have no idea what it was called though. Croom is cool, Ocala is about another 45-60 min north.

Ive rode all over florida and ocala seems to be the best.Lots of area to ride without paying for admission.I live right here and I still havent explored it all.Stay off of numbered roads though.Take SR 19,a few miles outside of altoona.turn left(if your traveling north)on forest road 573 toward big scrub campground.
