thought i might drop in and say I read the whole posts. I ride here in nj. mostly at clayton sand pit off 571 in jackson. We use to get chased out of there all the time now the police will only bust you coming and going from the pit. the reason is because somedumb a$$ cop drove a car off to cliff and the jackson police tried to sue clayton for it. well thet didn't win and clayton hasn't given then the ok to even be there.Clayton has there own people patoring the pit, they don't have a problem with us unless you/we fu(k with the machines.
the only problem is now that the cops don't go into the pit ,they wait at all the entances and exits.
I also ride in Lasey, Manchester, vinland, tuckerton, staford, and just about every central nj forest
I would love to meet up with new people to ride with, but right now it have a broken wrist. Also keep a eye out for me i'm everywhere in this state, I ride a polaris predtoa with black plastics and a cherry red frame, i also have a black polaris scrambler with a HPd race kit. the scrammy is highly modded.

see ya all someday

Seems the claytons dont have any love for the popo for the same reason they are not fond of us either, and who can blame them as its no fun being sued for someone else being a total idiot even if that idiot has a badge.

From what I have been told by those I know there you shouldnt expect much in any way of a break from the company if you do end up being caught there, but there also one of the places on my list of people to contact for discussing using their property for riding or harescambles.

And BTW your close enough that we should have run into each other already, and since we have rode the same places etc we prob were in the same area at the same time.

I check out your frame after I post this (If its one of your pics), but mine is a candy red.

Also its an offshot of Imron, and not powder coated so I am also testing it to see how it holds up in comparison.

So far so good btw, and its easier to touch up if thats ever needed due to welding or bending etc.

my predator wasn't working one weekend so, i took out the scrambler 400 with a hpd race kit(full mod).we went to claytons and i was hitting a big table top jump when my front strut blow out this caused the front of the quad to po-go up and hit my chin.well it broke my wrist and i didn't even know it. I landed the jump prefect it po-goed hit my chin, and i rode away.after awhile i stopped and noticed my wrist hurt.that was it it was broke.weird hu!!
As of right now i don't have a picture of my quads up because, i"m showing off the Polaris Outlaw, which I got to ride and check out at a secret Polaris IND test ride. The test was at chatsworth on monday--you had to be invited---this was a test to find flaws with the 2006 polaris atv's before they release them,so they can improve them. All the polaris R+D guys were there. They wrote down everthing we found wrong and even wrote down sugestions for the predator(thing found to be wrong) polaris will then use this info to fix up and improve their quads. this is why for the 3 years that the predator has been out it has had some changes evey year.

I do get around alot so look for me or any atv with a TEAM BRICKTUCKY sticker. if it's not a polaris quad then it's one of my friends/team mate.

Too bad I wasnt around for the R&D day because that could have been really interesting to say the least. I save the why etc for when I run into you because it could get a little long even for me

Anyhow I bet you guys filled them in good.

So the $##@)#$* strut set up on the scrammy got ya, damn that suks, but I guess its one of those things we cant prepare for. That must have been a real shock when you thought everything was cool but then noticed your wrist. How long till that heals up?

Not sure if any of you guys can get out during the week, but I am planning on making a trip to Chats on Thurs or Fri so let me know if you are able to go so we all can find each other, but then again theres not enough people around during the week so it should be pretty easy.

Lets be honest the people who make up the police force will be a representation of the people who live in that area, and good bad or ugly thats where they get their recruits.

I have some family and friends in law enforcement locally and even outside of this area, and there are some really good ones, and others not so good in all the towns I know of personally.

You do have a point though, and I have been thinking of making a point to talk to someone the next time some newbie passes me doing 90 with lights blarring down a side road while looking at me weird like something was wrong, but only to find him directing traffic at the scene of a minor fender bender.

Then again I have some friends who do very well repairng all the cars they crash up too so I guess its all relative, but maybe sometimes for some just too closely related
