Hey dude what's up? what part of North Wilkesboro are you talking abought riding at ? is it the area around Brushy Mtn, and what is the riding like? I live abought 45 minutes away from North Wilkesboro and will be going to Wilkes Polaris very soon, mabey to get the 04 pred. when ever it gets there. also do you do any riding in Keystone or around Bluefield WV. or know anything abought what's abought to happen to the trails there.
, from what I've been seeing and hearing it's not good. If you know anything let me know........

 

I lived in NC for 5 years. Some of the guys we rode with,,always talked about riding in North Wilksboro. I never actually rode there,,,and it could be,,,North wilksboro was just the closest town on the map. They raved about some of the technical riding there,,,and I always meant to make a trip on the 400 but left too soon. I am not privy to all the latest news on the east coast since I moved west.

What is the conflict?

 

I am really only well versed in the Brown Mt/Joe white/Mortimer area....

The guys at wilkes honda keep talking abought riding around wilkesboro somewhere, The riding is OK at brown mtn just not enough, and is abought the same distance as going to WV for me from where I live. The reason I have decided on the pred is because I don't like kicking anymore(HONDA) and it fits me better. I see you have a raptor, they are good bikes, I just have never liked them,nothing personal... seems strange from someone 6'5" 250lbs The issue at WV is alot of people riding at a semi controlled place and not enough common sense being used. I hope the hatfield-mccoy trail system takes this area over an gets some safe regulations in place, too many people getting hurt and killed in the area one of them being a good friend of mine. well later and be safe.....

good luck with the political stuff. Brown MT has much more to offer than just the orv area......check out mortimer sometime
