I live in Northwest indiana about 35 miles southeast from chicago... The places to ride quads are going away fast....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img] I know about the badlands, and the other places down state... Anyone know of land you can ride on, or your secret places that you know of?

NO secret...If your willing to travel to West Virginia you can ride Hatfield~McCoy Trials... They are the Best trail
system in the eastern part of United States... You won't regret it !

ITs not that far if you live in Indiana i mean alot of people travel from FL to come to the trails thats a
14 hour drive! So you don't have it to bad... and its worth the drive

 

Yeah, i might look into that... I was also looking for some places around my area..? McCoy trails is were me and a few of my buds will go on a group trip... Thanks for telling mr about that place!!!

 

Unfortunately, there aren't too many places around Northern Indiana other than privately owned areas, but people have gotten so sue-happy that most landowners will no longer let people ride on thier land for fear of getting sued because of an injury. You might want to get ahold of forum member Big Waynester, he knows of some land up by Michigan City that people ride at, but be careful, the place sounds a little sketchy. Not sure how legal it is to ride there. I'd invite you to come and ride here, but I only got 6 acres, and it gets boring fast. Maybe once I build a track, it'll be a little more exciting. Good luck finding a place.

 

Diablo, Thanks for the input i have heard of that place in Mich, City.. But i did not know if people would get pissed if you road on that land.. I will check into that place some more... Thanks again!!!

 

northwest indiana there is a place off of route 30 called broadmoar country club... it is abandaned land which used to be a golf course it is now legal to bring out offroad stuff out there its a little small but i like it
