Johnson Valley, Stoddard Valley, Rasor rd would be a place to start. I saw your other post about El Mirage, I have not been there reciently. I dunno if it's muddy or not.
There are no facilities in Johnson, but plenty of flat trails to get used to a bike on.
Stoddard is kinda rocky. I "believe" that there are bathrooms near Outlet center drive. If not you can cruise over to one of many restaurants or gas stations near there. The Slash-X has good food but pricey.
Rasor has no facilities and is farther away. It has more sand (which is softer than rocks if you fall)
The regular site that we send folks to is down. Try a search using "Stoddard Valley" "Slash-X" "Johnson Valley" "Rasor rd" and "Barstow BLM".

Not sure were Glendora Ca is but there is some AWSOME sand dunes 150 miles east of san diego ca on interstate 8 called IMPERIAL DUNES ever thing from rookies to the dare devil go there for great riding. People go there from all over the country to ride cause the dunes change almost every time you go and it's sands dunes as far as you can see all around you. If you have head lights they have the best night riding you will ever ride . Its like $15 for the weekend and that includes camping. Just hop on interstate 8 toward YUMA and about 20 miles before YUMA you'll see it cant miss it. hope it helps. have fun be safe and happy holidays

To firemedic85;
Saw your post about El Mirage. Personally I don't like El Mirage, however its a good place for people of all ages to learn at.
There are permanent out houses there. Just find one and park near it for the wife. I like the ones all the way up on the road going in. It a nice view of the lake and out of everyones dust windy or not.
