ok our local dealer said you need to have a bill of sale with date of sale, VIN, and signed. Then take a trace of the VIN. that was one the other said you need to take the quad down with the bill of sale, date, VIN and signed

 

I don't think i need a federal permit(Daily or seasonal), for Wayne if you read on my post above you need one if you are over 16, i am 15 till april

 

Make sure you have your social security card w/ you, drivers liscence & they will want to see the sales agreement even if it's a hand written paper. On the form they will ask sale price & taxes paid. There is a DMV in a mall across from a Polaris dealer & Ford dealer that will take care of all of this & there is a social security office there also incase you dont have you SS card. I dont know where the mall is but check a phone book down there & its on the same road as the Polaris & Ford dealer.
