I live in Harvard Illinois its in mchenry county (northern Illinois) and i was wondering if there's any place to ride within 40 miles.

 

I lived in Woodstock/Crystal Lake for 15 years before moving back to Cali. There's not a whole lot of riding in that area. I had a practice track in my backyard and I rode a few times in and around Harvard farmlands.
I also used to ride a McGavers (sp) gravel pit off of rt. 14 in Woodstock, but I think its been closed now.
Is Tim Blue still around there? Do you know him?

i know no ones been on this forum for awhile but i live in mchenry and i might know a place. If you go down route 12 towards fox lake take a left at the hollywood video(by dominicks,chinese place,menards,etc.)you'll go straight,left and then a big open field is there with a little pond and a trail around it. Not sure who owns it,or if its legal. I see and hear tons of atv's and dirtbikes riding there. i've never ridden there but i know there's a big grass field,a wooded trail area, and tucked away back there ia supposed to be a run-down motocross track. see if this helps at all.
