riding there on the jan 10 2004 if anyone here rides in florida in that area and wants to meet up for a ride let me know!!

 

i go there on vacation but dont bring my quad. where do u ride around there. on the beach or somewhere else because i've never seen any trails or anything in that area?

 

if ur there just ask for a place called badluck it a riding area...... or ppl that are not locals they call it the squares/blocks.... but all three are the same place

 

i got there for vacation to but dont bring quad, i see people riding in the everglades and what not but i think u pay for it and use a quad b/c they were all the same (yellow hondas) and there was like 10 of them

 

any ideas on where to ride in northeast florida?? if so where???????????

 

I think there is a place near Naples called the Yucapen. Check the atvflorida.com message boards. People meet there all the time as far as I know.

 

i don't know exactly how you get there but i saw where you can camp and ride for free east of naples off highway 41. i was in a boat on the canals and saw atv's riding. i asked my uncle and he told me it was a developement that the state took control of after the developer split with the people's money. has gravel roads and trails and you can camp on the road. they have portable toilets and dumpsters along the road. you can bring a boat they have a boat ramp too. fishing,camping, boating,andatv'ing all for free. you may be able to get to it off a road called turner,s road off 41. somebody must know what i am talking about i was only visiting.

 

Yea, there's a place called the squares. I heard that there is a shortcut from naples that I have never taken before. I think it's on Everglades drive or ave. ask your local dealer, they might know. I come from miami. I go west on tamiami trail to 29. I go north for about 3 miles and turn left (west) into Faxahatchee preserve. make your first sharp right (north). it turns into a dirt road and goes for about 18 miles. It turns back into a paved road and then you get to a stop sign. Turn left and go to the second stop. make another left and follow to the end. There is a campground there and each spot is $4.00 for the night. THere is all kind of riding there. SAndy, dry, muddy, very muddy, water. Just ask some people if you can follow them to some of the trails. Have fun, it's a great place.
