Well marked trails with lots of sand, sand, sand. On some places the seemingly endless series of whoops can get old. No need for 4wd. On the plus side, how many trail systems offer the ability to ride for hours, drive right up to a pub out in the middle of nowhere, fill up with fuel and get a good meal then drive on. There are many campgrounds or motels that are connected to the trail system.

Black River Falls in WI
Was just there this morning, did 47 miles and it was great. I hear in the summer it gets bumpy and very dusty. Plenty of mud when wet. No need for paddles. I just started riding there last weekend. I live about
30 minutes away, so it's going to be my new stomping grounds. Any questions feel free to ask. Maybe we'll see ya out there!

Black River Falls in WI
Ive been trying to plan my summer trips for the upcoming year and have been considering Wisconsin for one of the trips. I have been told that my Ds650 is not legal up there because of the width. Is that so? I cant hardly balive it but never know.I would also like to know how many miles of rideing and howmany days of rideing there is up there? Thanks.

I have rode up there for years and had a DS650 and a couple of LT500's, nobody will ever bother you. Technically, I think there is an old reg. on the books for nothing over 50 inches wide but there used to be a reg. about nothing over 500cc's either. Just ride and use reasonable care and respect and have found the people and ATV club up there to be very friendly and helpful. Just enjoy and have a good time..Dean
