I'm looking for a place to ride that has sand dunes and is preferbably legal to ride at. I'm located in New Jersey and I don't want to drive 5 hours to get there. Thankyou

You can go down to Port Elizabeth in south Jersey but that is not a legal place to ride. It is all sand but not really any dunes. Some big fire roads to go top end on. I haven't been there since the fall so I can't say about cops but I have been going there for several years without any problems.

you can take a trip to michigan and go to silver lake sand dunes. if you cut through canada it wont be so bad, probably 10 hrs. plan ahead and spend a few days up there. plenty of camping avalible. just dont plan on goin during a holiday weekend.

Just got back from Silver Lake Michigan. Had a great time. This was my second trip there and will probably be going again next year. It is the only place near us that is "duning". The drive was long, about 11 hours, but worth it. Plan on spending a few days, lots of camping out there.

We are going to Port Elizabeth, NJ in September. Check out the other post. Drop me or B370 a line if you want to hookup.
