Ventura, California

In looking at my Benchmark Cali road & rec map i spotted all these OHV park in Ventura County, I did a search for them and found nothing. I was hopeing someone has visited these places and knows if the riding area is limited in terms of miles. I'm expecting these areas to have limited ATV trails, less than 7 miles like Little Rock & Baldy Mesa, which to me are not worth all the effort. I'm getting tired of waiting for Crab flats to re-open, that's gotta be my favorite place to ride. El Mirage, Palm Springs, Stoddard, is getting boring, i say that with a
All these places are within 30 miles of Ventura
Lockwood OHV
Sulphur Springs OHV
Ortega OHV
Ballinger Canyon OHV
Divide Peak OHV
Indian Creek Gamuesa OHV
Buckhorn OHV

Crab Flats is Open. The USFS put a gate on 3N34 down below Tent Peg Campground in order to keep people out of the Deep Creek burn area, but other than that, 3N16, 1W17, 2N12X, 3N93, they're all open.

The USFS is totally confused with their signage There's a spot on 3n14 that you can legally ride down.......But not up LOL
As long as you got a helmet, a curant green sticker and aren't bein stupid they wont mess with you.

It was closed until a few weeks ago. The people at the Discovery Center are a bunch of idiots. I'll be the first to say it. Trust me. I talked to the ranger who took the signs down. His name is Bob Poole. The proposal to open the area was written by USFS Ranger Brad Burns.
The areas that are still closed are the Pinnacles staging area, and the area surrounding Lake Silverwood.

Thanks for clearing that up WileyCoyote. I'm gonna have to pay 3n16 a visit, i love that trail over to Big Pine Flats.
I tried 1w17 (traveling south ) the last time i was that Big Pine Flats campground and i don't know how in the hell you guys travel that route. I made it about 1/2 mile in and had to turn out quads around like little girls one by one on a 50" hillside trail when we got the the part where you have to climb that slippery rock mountain.
