eman4000, you're not the first person who turned around on that section of the trail. 1W17 is best when heading north from Crab Flats to Big Pine Flat. I think 4X4 quads are preferable for some of the rocky hill climbs, but Chris142 did the trail on his Mojave 250, and had no problem. That's probably my favorite trail out there. Next time you're up here, let me know. We'll go hit that trail.
