Where are you guys riding in Sanford? It can't be NewDam Pit, they shut that down about a year ago. Have you ever been to the "gullys?" It's a place to ride off rt. 99 down by the airport.

Come farther north, there are hundreds of miles of old rail road beds and woods rideing.

I have never rode in Canada on a ATV, only snowmobles, all you needed was a permit, which could be perchased by the day or week.

I think you would find plenty of rideing on the Maine side.

A few of us have gone north to ride and it is great ridding! If you guys want to try and plan a trip we would go and know our way around a little. We went to Presque Isle and stayed there at a motel where you just leave your truck and ride from the motel. There is gas and food right along the trails. We Played on Mars hill mountain wich is a ski mountain during the winter, I think this was about the most fun ( not sure if they still let you). All in all it was very fun, the motel was reasonable at like 50-60$ and allot of the trails are all marked and very nice.
