Kermit is 6 hours from my town as I have been through there. Monroe is 6 hours from my house also as I have made that drive. Stay on the interstate and not visit me and it will be 10 hours.

Maytag, Little Sahara is no comperison to Kermit. Kermit is way bigger.

KFXcarnage I was born in rouston, La not to far from Monroe. I would say that the dunes are about a 11-12 hour drive ahead of you. I moved here about 5 years ago and love it way better than Rouston.

Go to http://www.txmud.com/trails/wt/kermit.html
This site shows a map of where they are. Sorry i do not have any pictures but the dunes are 0ft to 150ft. No fees to get in and also there are no rv hook ups or restrooms. The dunes are about 10miles from good lodging in Kermit, Tx. Hope this helps and hope u get to come.

I take that back the dunes are about 0ft to 100ft. Did some research and found out how big they are. Sorry for the mistake i was guessing, but when u see some of them they look like 130 to 150 ft.

Never been to little sahara but i have talked to many people who has rode there and they say kermit is way better. Kermit has a pretty good sized parking lot and i think 4 covered picnic tables that are covered and shadded. But if u want a table better get there a couple days before the weekend or u will be left in the sun. It gets pretty hot here in the summer about 100 to 110 degrees.
