Maryland riders, come on in....
I live in bel air md and am looking for places to ride.I dont know of many but ill share with you what I have.
Hatfield and mccoy in WV is by fay the best place Ive ever been there website is www.trailsheaven.com I like the waterways trailhead the best.Cant go wrong on a weekend trip there. 6-7 hours from baltimore.
Tower city Pa is fun,so is Rausch Creek they have some trails and a couple of very well groomed motocross tracks for all levels of riders. The two sites are a little north of harrisburg and are close to each other. 2.5 hours from baltimore
Greenridge state park in western maryland I have heard good things about but it is small has 1 ~20 mile loop.~2 hours from baltimore.
Ok now theres one wildcard spot I have and that is Coca cola drive of rt 100 near bwi airport area. I think you can only ride there on weekends but I went this past weekend and had a good time its private property and the cops will drive by once in a while but they do not bust anybodys *****.Directions are as follows. From 95 take rt 100 east to coca cola dr ext. ramp will put you at a light make a left go down ~1/4 mile the road will go straight and curve to the right; stay straight go down to bottom and park and ride.~15 minutes from baltimore.
Ok I shared my spots so tell me yours.Did I mention MD is the sh*t*st place to live in your into ATVing!

I live in Southern Maryland, and unfortunately I have to agree with you. There are really no public lands in Maryland to ride. I ride on the Power lines and some trails off of them but of course the Police do not like that too much. I have never been to WV or PA but am planning on a few weekend trips this summer. Hatfield in WV, is this a place on for 4x4 utilities or would a 2wd sport quad work out ok there as well?
