well guys i never used to register them but i did this time and all the guys i ride with are registerd i heard about the tree huggers being around but ive had no problems yet and as far as brockton police goes ive talked to a few when i was crossing over streets there more amazed at the machines and how much fun they are more than wanting to bust your !@#$% in fact when were at the end of ups on the road they come over and check the machines out so its not what you say its how you say it

 

Cool how do I get there I just got my ATV and am looking for places to ride and people to ride with... Maybe we all can meet some were I got a Sportsman let me know...

 

03 Sportsman and anybody who is interested,PM me about riding,I am trying to put together a group for rides in areas I know are fairly safe from getting busted.I know of a few riders that go there and they don't get bothered.The area is off of 195/25/495 in the Wareham area and another area is in Marion.The area in Marion is old railroad beds that go for over 5 miles with alot of side trails that have streams to cross and some mud holes.I am also trying to put together day trips or an overnight trip with some riders out to western MA.state parks.I have ridden Pittsfield State Forest a couple of times,it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from my house.ATV"s have to be registered to ride in the state forest but it's worth the drive,it's legal! Pittsfield State Forest has over 45 miles of ATV trails and within a 20 minute drive of the Pittsfield State forest there are 3 other state forest that have ATV trails also.

 

If you guys head out west here, let us know. I ride with a club (WesternMass ATV) that offers all sorts of rides (4x4, sport, technical, picnics, etc.) Maybe we could hook up and get some good ridin' in.

I could make the drive down for some good trails suited for 4x4. Does Mass registration run the same as NH and Maine, June-July? I know it is only $30. Do I have to pay sales tax if I bought my ATV and live in NH?

yea we haven't reg. this year yet but we've really only been riding in Otis Mass. ....I bet that's nothing compared to farther up where you guys are?

I WOULD DEFINIETLY BE INTERESTED IN DOING SOME RIDING. I LIVE IN DARTMOUTH, I HAVEN'T BEEN DOWN HERE THAT LONG A WOULD LIKE TO LEARN SOME NEW TRAILS IN THE AREA. I'M IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING ANOTHER QUAD. I SHOULD HAVE IT IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS. LET ME KNOW IF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED.
