Any body going to hatfield mc coy for the jamboree
HATFIELD MCCOY- Is any body else going to the atv dirt bike jamboree at the end of april. Its my first time and i heard that its going to be nice, me and my buddy are going to check it out. There is like 500 miles of trail and very atv friendly. West virginia is going to be nice right around then. And they have a drag strip, a 500 ft hill climb and mud pits. I'm coming from e.mass anyone else going out that way or been there let me know? Which trails are the best? I heard you can ride your quad around in like two towns.. Gotta se that.

We're not going for the jamboree, but we go pretty frequently. You'll love it. You can ride your quads in the towns of Man, Gilbert, Delbarton, and Matewan. (just follow traffic rules) There's like 10 miles of hardtop between Man and Logan (the events are usually held just south of Logan) They run "convoy" type of drives between the two towns for the events. The people there are the niceest you will ever meet. The trails are awesome, and well marked. Watch out for the black trails unless you're VERY experienced. You'll have a blast. (Mrs. Q)

That is a great time of year. Great secenery with the leaves turnging colors then.
It is a great place to ride, a little something for everyone. Make sure to get a good map at the trailheads or many local places have them too, hotels, and other places. I usually check in with the Ranger at the Ranger station to have him point out any points of interest on the particular trails I'm going to ride, or any areas which might need maintenanc or are closed for maintenance.
Other than that, I'd just check their web site frequently.
