RedRider,

I stopped in the Burger King in Ebensburg on the way home this morning and found out that there is a new ATV club forming near you. Celeste and I are from Huntingdon just a few miles east of you on route 22. Visit our pages by clicking the link below my name.

If you live that close then you probably know where Belsano is, which is where I actually live. If you ever want to go riding around here, me and my family are always up for meeting new riders.

RedRider,

Of course I know where it is. I go through there every time I go to see my parents. Tell me, when did they remove the old C&I railroad bridge across route 422? I noticed it was gone the last time I was through. Well, there goes the rails to trails project.

They took it out earlier this summer, it is going to suck if rails to trails goes through. The next time you are in the area give me a call and we'll go riding. My home number is 814-749-0999.

RedRider,

The idea that they took out the bridge could probably mean that the Rails to Trails aren't going to keep the land from reverting to it's rightful owners as they have done several times in the past. Rails to Trails only wants things that are nice, level and easy to access. It will be hard for people to get off the one side of where the bridge was and climb up to the other side. If the bridge would have stayed there, I would have bet that the land stealers would have a hiking, non-motorized bike path there. Now I'm not so sure.

I'll call the next time I'm up there! C-Ya!

I ride all over Belsano, Nanty Glo, Alverta, Twin Rocks, and sometimes up near Ebinsburg. I have a 94' TRX 300, a 00' Foreman 450S, and a TRX 300EX.
