Hey MURDR -

I saw your post today I live in Schaumburg and my friend I ride with lives near Naperville, Were always looking for people to ride with. Shoot me an e-mail next time you plan on riding and maybe we can all meet up.

PS We are thinking of going to 3 caves this weekend if the weather is good, let me know if you'd like to come along.

Originally from the Effingham Il. area, relocated to Tennessee 19yrs. ago, and have a riding bud in Northern In. So, we're talking about a 6 state area here. Il-In-Ky-Tn-Mo-well........maybe more. Anyway, do you guys have any good-legal-areas to ride?

Red Bird Closes end of November though
The Badlands in Attica Indiana
Turkey Bay (Land Between the Lakes)
Patty's Bluff (might be closed for hunting season) It is by Madisonville I think.

There are many more but I can't think of them right now.

Of the 3, Patty's Bluff is the only one I haven"t ridden. How are the trails?

Haven't made it down there myself. I think it is only about 600 acres but I have heard good things.

I haven't been but looks muddy, my brothers have gone and they like it ok, not as rocky as Turkey Bay.

Hey Kell, where else do you guys ride-legally? I'm looking for places-close (kinda, anyway) that I could maybe do an article on. I'm about 75 mi. south of you.

I assume you have visited Turkey Bay in LBL? (excellent if you have never been) that and paddys is the only local ones I know of. There are a few a couple hours away in IL near marion I think.

I recommend Flat River MO, which is St. Joes State Park, its about 2.5 hours away from me. An old strip mine, lots of sand, great for quads.

Weather justed turned sour, dropped 25 degrees in about 2 hours, would like it to snow so I can take the boy out for Thanksgiving!

Happy Holidays!

I'm from Dyersburg. Yeah, I've been to LBL acouple (hundred) times. Fill me in on some of the others. I'll check the websites you provided, but am interested in Mid-South riding. We're hurting for pieces on this area. Iknow the ~real!~ local stuff, but am interested in doing some legal public-access features in the area.
