Default Looking for a place to rent ATV's/Dirtbikes in CA

I live in the East and am looking to take an ATV trip in Southern California. I probably won't have access to a vehicle that is capable of towing a trailer(just what I can rent out of an airport). I've been searching and haven't had too much luck finding a place that will rent atv's/dirt bikes on site. Does anyone have any ideas with respect to where I might be able to rent any?

There is a place in Ocotillo Wells that rents out Polaris's.

They are on the corner of hwy78 and Split mountain rd.....Next to the Jenny Rose cafe. Sorry I don't have a # for ya.

I would think that most of the car rental places would rent trucks as well. I know one of the rental places at Fresno rents out F-150s (some are 4x4 as well). So you can check on that as well as renting a trailer from a U-Haul or equivelant and some quads somewhere. I'm not sure who rents down in SoCal but I know that Eagle Riders rents out of Fresno (about a 2 mile drive around the airport from the terminal) as well as other towns. They mainly rent Harleys but also rent out Honda ATVs (250ex/400ex) as well as MCs.

If you head to Pismo there are probably 4 or 5 places then rent quads over there.

Will a dirt bike and an ATV both fit in the bed of a F150? Is there anything I need to do to secure them?

They should. A fried has a Chevy 1/2 ton short bed and my warrior and his YZ250 fit. Just get yourself some tie downs. Probably take 6-8 to really secure them in there. Note, the tail gate would have to stay down as the dirt bike is too long for the tail gate to close. The truck should have the standard tie down hooks in the bed.
