I live in Black River Falls. I used to live in Lancaster and rode the Cheese County trail a lot because I could be unloaded in Belmont in 1/2 an Hour from where I live. I like to ride but i'm an old duffer and most of the people don't want to ride with an old guy. I like to ride sport atv's but don't want to go wide open all the time and endanger others, but I don't like puddlin' along either. There must be some other old guys that like to rip and race sometimes. Dean

Crashed alot but still can ride hard . Just not out of control. I think I learned the hard way know I watch these young guys and cringe. Its funny when I got my new 450 I told my lady I think I might race again, then I went out and hit a few jumps and thought I must be crazy. Sore for a week plus it doesnt help that I have a keg instead of that old 6 pack for a stomach. Maybe after some more time and better shape LOL.

Yes you do. You need an out of state sticker that you place on your atv. Also if your state requires a sticker, you must have it also. One other thing, your exhaust needs to have a spark arrestor muffler or they will ticket you. I'm not sure but I think the out of state sticker is $18.00. I don't know if that is for 1 or 2 years. In state stickers are for two years. You can call the Wisconsin DNR at Black River Falls @715-334-2771 or 715-284-1400 and they can answer any questions about out of state you might have. On the Cheese County Trail, they have posted that you must have a STOCK muffler. I used to ride it all the time and I had a Vance and Hines on my LT500. They didn't bother me but I was never stopped and checked either. I used to ride during the week alot. They have a 35 MPH speed limit but if you use your head and rip her when the trail is empty it's not a danger. Lots of families ride that trail so you need to watch. It is also a horse and bike multi-use trail so be aware that occasionally they will be on the trail also. Obviously, they don't make spark arrestor mufflers for street bikes so I ended up putting a Honda 450R muffler on it. Kind of haphazard but it works and it probably restricts the flow compared to the Vance and Hines but not to badly. It does affect the power to some degree but I can live with it. I found that the White Bros. muffler for a raptor has the discs which will fit the oval of the Vance and Hines but need to weld some nuts onto it for the bolts to screw into. However, you are looking at $80.00 and I'm not sure that is worth the difference in power....Dean
