Anyone ride Quebec trails?
#1
We're from the Ottawa area and would like to plan a 3-4 day atv adventure in Quebec in July. Does anyone have any ideas where would be a good loop tour?
Also are permits required in Quebec when on their trails? what's the cost and what, if any, are age restrictions?
thanks!!!

You need to check out the club quad Iroquois of labelle site
http://www.clubquadiroquois.com/cartes2.html
you can also get on trails at Lac des plages just south of Tremblant area
http://www.quadpetitenation.ca/accueilfr.htm
I ride on both club trails and am also from ottawa. First club trails tend to be a bit rugged while the second tend to be a bit easier.
Rules for quebec are helmets, trail pass, mirror, and drivers licences, plates and insurance.
The trail system is unlimeted and the area you are going in offers real good access. I also ride on trail system north of Buckingham and Notre dame de Laus also Club quad de Haute Gatineau. If you check out FQCQ wb site they list all clubs and their web sites.
have fun

Yep, one of those things that make sno sence [to me].
Yrs ago when I got my scheoffers (sp?) liscence, I went back to the local truck line that I was already running pickup/van for and they gave me thier own test run in a strait truck. This was no biggy as I have been running heavy equipment on the farm since I was 10.
Went down the two lane hwy aboot 5-6 smiles or so and turned around and came back. Just enough to say we did it I guess. The feller told me that I didn't use my mirrors enough and that most accidents happen from the rear. ??? (I did use my mirrors a cpl times, but I spent the majority of the time looking in front of me - how wreckless of me. )
I guess this means that if I see a Corvette come screaming up behind me with a stuck accelerator pedal - that I should put the pedal to the metal eh? Like what am I going to doo aboot that!?
On a four lane life is alltogether diff of course...
I guess he just had to find SOMETHING wrong and to improve upon... Oh well, 15 yrs later and I still get pissed aboot it....

Meaning of course that with a mirror you can see that DS come screaming up behind you, with some punk 14 yr old that is till immortal, at a WAY TOO FAST speed and you will know to stop and pull over so's not to get in his way eh?
