Yo Baldmike, B&R warrior, Powerstroke, et al-
Recently returned from a trip to Texas and Colorado - no riding, just picked up a new trailer and another Polaris. unfortunately wrecked my camper & hurt my neck a day or two after returning. Camper will be in the shop for several weeks. I'm hoping that it all comes together in time for Labor Day at Pismo,

Thanks, Jarad. Yep, another Scrambler. This is a 400 2X4 with a bum engine. I'm going to install a 700 twin RMK snowmobile engine & a 10" swing arm to make a hill shooter out of it.

Just got back in and settled down from Pismo. It was a little rough out there. Only put on about 2hrs of actual moving riding time. Did a lot of hanging out this weekend. I wasn't in a big riding mood.

I'm heading back out there at the end of the month (last weekend...30th I believe) if anyone is interested.

Pismo Beach will have a high tide at 1125 AM on the July 31 date, That, my friends, means bring your boat not your quad.
But seriously, High tide in the middle of the day will mess up the drive in or out unless you get there at 7-8 AM and leave at 4-5 PM. anything closer to the hight tide and your rig will get wet crossing the creek and the available beach area will be considerably diminished...

Food for thought.

Creek? It's not there. It's dead for the summer. There was nothing left of it this weekend. Not even an indention in the sand.

This is from the Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce Tide Schedule:

2004-07-30 04:14 PDT -1.39 feet Low Tide
2004-07-30 06:10 PDT Sunrise
2004-07-30 10:46 PDT 4.09 feet High Tide <-- That's not THAT bad.
2004-07-30 15:22 PDT 2.18 feet Low Tide
2004-07-30 20:07 PDT Sunset
2004-07-30 21:36 PDT 7.08 feet High Tide <-- Now, that's when you bring your boat!

And for Sunday:

2004-08-01 05:37 PDT -1.40 feet Low Tide
2004-08-01 06:12 PDT Sunrise
2004-08-01 12:03 PDT 4.48 feet High Tide <-- Going to make leaving fun!
2004-08-01 17:04 PDT 1.79 feet Low Tide
2004-08-01 20:05 PDT Sunset
2004-08-01 23:11 PDT 6.77 feet High Tide

Also, make sure you got reservations. It's a sell out time.
