May be too late, but anyone riding Pismo this week. I will be there Mon to Thurs, May 1 - 4. Wife is pregnant and cant ride. Have never been there before.

 

well what did you think of pismo for the first time? did anyone else ever meet you over there or 4 days of riding alone.

 

Weather was great and very few people were there. I couldn't imagine being there on a busy holiday weekend! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] It was nice for the family being right on the water and near town. There was very little wind so nothing to help smooth out the sand. A bunch of little jumps that were fun. I met a group from Madera and it was fun to ride with them. Overall, had a good time. Will be going back again (during the week) . [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

during the week is the ideal time to go , on busy weekends and holidays its a mad house. did you go out by the refinery ? theres some nice huge dunes back there.

 

Yea we did. Were out in the back for over an hour and rode a course that we made with a few jumps. No one else ever rode by us in that hour or so. It was nice.

 

Ok, who is going to Pismo on Memorial day weekend..........!!!!

Hubby heading over there early Friday morning, prior to the holiday weekend.

He will be setting up a <u>huge</u> space between 4 and 5... off sand highway past the bathroom structures.

i'M GONNA TRY AND MAKE IT. Fuel prices are just hard right now. Sounds like fun, I was looking forward to the poker run but it got canceled. I am trying to get rid of some paddles and rims also if anyone is interested. They fit kfx or Z400 paddles are skat trak haulers. With .190 douglas rims. If anyone is interested PM me.
