Default Glamis Question

i've never been out to glamis but i'm interested in maybe heading out there this weekend. what's the lodging situation like out there? i dont have an RV or trailor so i would have to either get a hotel room or pitch a tent, which would u recommend and is there a good campin area that i could get to this weekend without reservations or anything? any info would really help, or maybe a link to somewhere with that info.

thanks for the link but it doesnt really say much about lodging. are there any hotels nearby, and how safe are the quads sleeping on a trailor outside in the hotel parking lot.

Default Glamis Question

Closest hotel would be in Brawley. I don't know about leaving a bike on a trailer. I would at least cover it with a tarp, lock it good. And this time of year it is HOT!

Default Glamis Question

There are hotels in Brawley which would be closest, then westmorland which is about 30 mins away, and if you want El Centro isn't that far out. I stayed in Westmorland at a Super 8 quads were in back of Pickup and no one bothered them. But we also went the first of April. Make sure you check the weather before you go. It should be hot as hell there. Winter is the time to go, not now........

Default Glamis Question

There are no hotels or places to stay at all. Brawley or El Centro are the closest towns. Not the best of places. Your better off to sleep in your truck or on your trailer, something like that before packing up and going into town.
Right now it's too hot unless you hit an overcast weekend. I flew over Glamis last Friday and no one was there

Default Glamis Question

Yuma has a million hotels and is very close to the southern end of Glamis.

It is well situated for riding Glamis unless your going to the north end every day.

Staight shot down the freeway.. 20 to 25 miles or so..
