The R1 Raptor was not there, only the regular suspects. My bike was not running like it should, still trying to get it lined out.

Everyone else was running strong.

MrHP and 222 showed up around 3-3:30 and put on a impressive show with their stock stroke/bore DS's to say the least. Back to the drawing board for me.

You couldn't have asked for a nicer day to ride on Saturday. Lot's of racing. Zac and I rode Sunday and both managed to get sunburned. There was a fair amount of racing going on Sunday but nothing like Saturday.

With the expected parking problem for Sand Fest I checked with LS State Park folks about using a camp site to park in. They said that we could occupy a camping spot IF it looked like someone was staying there. I plan on going down on that Wednesday night to claim a spot. We'll toss up a tent and leave the trailer there but probably only one of us, Patrick volunteered, will stay at the site all night. That way, old farts like me can sleep in the air conditioned comfort of a rented house.

I was doing some research before I go to St Joe in August or September & i read some disturbing stuff...You cannot ride your quad at night ?!?! or after 8pm ...Is this true?
