Is CMX (currituck MX) still open? I was there last December and want to go back this coming saturday but live a pretty good ways away hate to drive that far if it's closed???

 

Yes it is still open. They have made some improvements as well, such as sprinkling systems. Also there is a new track open over near ECMX called Morgan's Cormer that is a lot of fun with a quad.

 

Can you post directions? I was supposed to go with Weewane last time, but ended up working. Thanks,

Do You need directions to Currituck or the other place? I can give you directions to currituck but I have no idea where Morgans corner is! Sounds fun though......i have been to ECMX bout 4 years ago.

 

I just started racing at ECMX last year. I became a member there because there is nowhere to ride for free around here(legally). If you know where ECMX is, just go west across 17 and Morgan's Corner is about 1/8th of a mile on the right! If you are coming from VA take 17 south until you get into NC. At the first stop light that you come to take a right onto 158 and again it is 1/8th of a mile on the right! ECMX is to the left on 158 about 1/4 mile down the road! I heard that Morgan's is $25 a day to ride. Mostly flat and wide with a few tabletops and a couple other jumps. I haven't been there myself(except to look at the track) so I am going off what the other club members from ECMX have told me. Hope this helps you guys!
