My riding buddy Dennis was on vacation last week. Hauled his trailer and quad up to Butt creek. A place that he spent his summers with his grandparents. This is just west of lake almanor, very beautiful country. He got there on wed morning, set up camp, and waited for friends to arrive. He decided to take a ride to kill some time. He was on the way back to camp, about a mile away, a guy, who looked right at dennis, made eye contact. Came around a turn on the wrong side of the road and ran him into the woods. He was driving a white dodge pickup, that's all Dennis can remember about it. Dennis hit rough ground, was thrown off the quad, a near new rancher, and landed in some bushes. His whole right side is a mass of bruises and abrasions. Messed up his knee and shoulder, he's on crutches, but going to be ok. The dude in the truck never even stopped, luckily dennis was able to right the quad and make it to camp, his friends had showed up and took care of him. His quad, bent front axle, bent handle bars, and scraped and scratched everywhere. Watch your a$$e$!
