Deepwater open?
I was with a group of buddys two weekends ago(7-17-04) down at Finger Lakes and was talking to different people in the morning and they were all telling me that the state was thinking of shutting down Deepwater riding area. we were going to make a another group trip down there but I don't know if the park is still open or not? I was informed that someone had gotten really hurt ( or of couse the other story is that someone had gotten killed by an ATV landing on them) but I haven't read any threads supporting any of this. Please someone let me know, Thanks

sam-Hey we have been to deepwater for the past 3 weekends in a row. I alos heard that someone got killed there but havnt heard that they were going to shut it down. We usually all meet on highlifter.com in the Riding In Missouri forum. there are about8 or 10 of us that try to ride together and you are more than welcome to join. We ride lots of mud and some trials

Deepwater open?
Hey thanks for the offer, I'll be heading there this weekend with a couple of buddys, one who just bought himself a new Honda 300 ex and is ready to get down some trails with it. Thanks for the info, I know how hard it is to find a good safe place to ride. people need to understand that if you misuse the land it will be taken away. I live close to Tiffany Springs Park area and what a shame for all those trails to go to waste. I have to drive over a hour away or better just to ride on some trails that I know it is safe to be on. See ya on the trails, I'll be riding a Lime green 500 Aritc Cat pulling two 300 EX's thru all the mud holes. You Know what I mean ?
