finally... after patitions... their will finally be a legal place to ride atvs on long island. This will be in the hamtons. It is being built and should be ready this winter or next spring. it seems to be trails with some MX jumps. More info when it is recieved.

 

I have no idea where you get your information from, but there is not going to be a track in the Hamptons. FYI the Suffolk Legislators tossed out the ATV task force because another group of smucks who operate a small track in manorville stated there was no legal place to ride. There is a legal place to ride in Yaphank Motorcross, and the legislators thought they were being B.S. ed by that group and killed it. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

I heard the same thing. They got a ton of opposition to a park and some if the information given to the Legislators from that group was not accurate

 

There's never going to be a legal place other than the Yaphank track. Even if there was, it wouldn't be big enough to be of any interest. They'll never open up the Pine barrens to riding so you'd have a really small trail system. Unfortunatley we just have to travel to ride.

 

extorris is right guys jsut give up ny suxs it will have to be nj trailpass is got 58 miles 4 hours up state in herkimer and that only 1 hour from saratoga a day of horses and a day or riding si a great weekend

 

hey everyone new to this forum..from portjefferson ny myself and would greatly appreciate any info on places to ride quads near longisland just bought a brand new one and am not looking to have it taken by any damn cops dont mind traveling just dont want to spend 8 hours getting there thanks

 

heard of some places in pa was wondering if anyone from longisland has gone to pa and if so is it even worth the trip and money
