Beautiful land, nice trails, TERRIBLE OWNERS. Me and my family have never been treated with such disrespect. I really think these people have mental issues. They have a drop box at the front gate with envelopes to pay. My buddies arrived at the park before us and signed the release form and paid for all three days. We arrived late and they were out of envelopes so I decided to wait till morning and pay when there was someone at the gate. The owner was at the gate and I pulled up and explained that there were no envelopes so I needed to pay but I had already signed the release. She went off and said that I was not supposed to pay the night before and chewed me out. (For trying too?) Wait a minute I didn’t pay the night before so I did the right thing and still got chewed out. Anyway at 11:30 pm Saturday her and her husband pull into camp, so I get dressed and come out of the camper. She starts yelling at me again because my buddies had paid for all three days at once. Apparently you have to pay day by day. It was our first time there so we didn’t know. She could have just explained that but instead they decided to yell, wake up my kids, (who came outside with my wife) Yell at me in front of my kids, (all of this while her husband was holding a flash light in my face like some kind of police officer.) I kept my cool through this. I explained that she had their money and we apologies for not understanding the exact rule. She yelled “You SHUT UP I own this property and if you don’t like it you pack up and leave right now” She told me to shut up, I had to turn around and walk off. We got up early and got the heck out of there. These people have issues and I will not deal with that again. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THAT PARK.

 

Anybody else ride at this park?

 

My nephews have ridden there several times but never mentioned any problems.

 

A guy on the Texas Offroad Network sent me a PM this weekend. He said the same thing happened to him. Got there late Friday and paid for all three days, not knowing. She kicked them out. He had to go through his lawyer to get their money back. He thought there might be some alcohol involved on the old ladys part. Maybe I should have offered her a beer. LOL
