If you RIDE ATV'S IN TX, you need to read this!

Ok folks, now is time to fight for your right to RIDE ATVs and Jeeps in TX. As many of you may know, Senate Bill 155 has made it illegal to ride most riverbottom and streambed areas of Texas for all motorized vehicles (including ATVs and Jeeps). This affects Spring Creek, San Jacinto River, Trinity River and almost every single navigable waterways in the entire state (except for 2 rivers in panhandle area)! In north Texas, they have an exemption under SB 155 because they fought for it and now is our time to fight for our riding areas.
Now is the time to stand up for what we believe in (More ATV Riding areas in TX!). There will be a meeting on Sept. 8th in Montgomery County at the East Montgomery County Improvement Building at 7:30PM (near Porter, TX). We will discuss the MANY problems with SB 155, our goals to repeal this law (or at least get a moratorium until more ATV riding areas are established) and our interest in getting more local riding areas created!
This will be followed up by a peaceful protest drive (w/ATV in tow) on Sept. 25th (Saturday) to the Capital Building in Austin, Texas. We plan to gather as many people as possible (from all over TX) to join us at the Capitol with supporting signs (aka Repeal SB 155 / Give Back our ATV Trails) and window paint. This should be as peaceful, respectful and professional as possible. We are trying to show that it's not just a bunch of low-lifes that are out there riding ATVs and that Texas has a lot of people who enjoy motorized recreation and SB155 is taking away our ability to do that legally. More details will follow after the meeting on the 8th.
PLEASE Pass this on!!
