Default Looking for a fun place to ride near twin cities

I am coming to hay days and woud like to find a good spot to ride atv with passenger or a place to rent one for her. Wuld like a spot with cabin or room.

Unfortunetly, there arent many legal places to ride, that are public and close to lino lakes, (twin cities). If you go up I 35, theres general andrews, nemadji, st croix, in MN and danbury in WI. All are with in 100 miles or so. Of those, danbury is probably the better to go to.
Look over the mn dnr website, itll give you an idea of where to go.
Red top is another good place, by lake mil lacs.
As far as renting...good question, but i dont know the answer.

Thanks for reply. I think Dunbury sounds good. Is this a town with motels?

Theres a casino in town, i think its called Hole in the wall, they have campgrounds and a motel. Hinkley, MN is about 30 miles east of danbury, and there is a casino with rooms there.

Sounds fun. Can I buy a permit to ride there or do i need ne?

Unfortunetly, WI now requires out of state riders to buy a trail permit. Its 18 bucks and can be bought at the gas station at the corner of 35 and 77 in danbury.( right across the hwy from the casino)
